Flower drying service

This service is if you would like your flowers preserved in silica ready for your own use at home. You would send the flowers to me and I will dry them, clean the silica and then deliver them back to you. Please note colour correction is available as an add on for flowers that typically always lose colour during this process. You must let me know in advance if you need specific flowers pressed a certain way (flatter). Greenery is charged at £4 per stem.

Now booking for 2027. Flowers are dried and cast by hand, and I will keep you updated at each stage.

Revive faded tones for pre dried flowers or for flowers that tend to change drastically when dried. £25 covers the cost of any flowers that need to be corrected after the drying process.

Colour correction

Drying takes water out of a petal, and colour goes with it. Whites turn ivory, reds go dark, and pale pinks can bleach to ochre. The gerbera in this photograph is a real example from the studio bench. Drag the handle to see it corrected.

Colour correction puts that colour back by hand, bloom by bloom, before the piece is cast. It restores tone. It cannot restore shape, or bring back a bloom that arrived past its best.

Add it above when you order. If you are not sure whether your flowers need it, say so in your design notes and I will advise once they are dry.
