Hi, I’m Takara.

I’m Takara, a flower preservationist working from my home studio in Cambridgeshire. I preserve wedding bouquets and other flowers you cannot bear to lose. Each piece is resin, made by hand, one at a time.

The work is naturalistic and a little wild. I love meadow flowers, and I try to keep as many of your blooms as the piece will honestly hold. Most pieces are resin. If you have something unusual in mind, I make my own moulds.

If you are unsure what will work, send me a photograph. I would rather give you a clear answer than let you post flowers that cannot be preserved well.

I have been mad about flowers in every form, grown from seed, pressed, dried, then set in resin. I still grow them at home with my children. This is my studio. I do the drying, the layout and the pour myself.

Wedding bouquets are most of the work. I also preserve funeral flowers, and blooms from a baby shower, a prom or a graduation. Remembrance pieces are especially close to me. I hope they can offer a little comfort when the day itself has gone.
