Where should I start?+
Tell me about your flowers. I will tell you what will survive drying, which shape suits them, and a realistic price, before you pick a piece or pay.
How long does preservation take?+
I am now booking for 2027. Flowers are dried and cast by hand, and I will always keep you updated at each stage.
How do I pack my flowers for postage?+
See the Packing instructions page for the full illustrated guide. In short: flowers should be stems-up in a box with gentle paper support (never plastic), posted as soon as possible after your event via Royal Mail Special Delivery or dropped off locally. The same guide is also emailed once your slot is booked.
What if I cannot post in time?+
We can arrange an in-person drop-off by appointment. There is also a secure lock box available at the studio. The code is shared with you so your blooms stay safe until I can process them, within 12 hours maximum.
Can I change my mind about the design?+
Yes, until two weeks before your event. After that the shape is set.
What is the difference between the £30 and paying for a piece?+
They are two different payments. The £30 holds a date in the studio diary before you have chosen anything. It is not a payment on a piece. When you order an actual piece, you pay in full, and if you have already paid the £30 it comes off that total.
Are payments refundable?+
No. The £30 that holds your date is non-refundable because it reserves limited studio capacity, and payment for a piece is non-refundable once your place is booked. Two weeks before the event the shape is set.
Will my flowers change colour?+
Almost certainly, a little. Whites tend to go ivory, reds darken and pale pinks can fade. Some flowers keep their colour beautifully. See the What to expect page for photographs of what drying really does, and for the list of which blooms benefit from colour correction.
Can I buy a gift voucher?+
Yes. A gift voucher is for when someone else will choose the piece. They can show me their flowers and I will advise. You will find it on Shop all, or as Gift voucher in the footer.
I was referred by a florist. How does that work?+
If you name them at checkout (or use their referral code) and your order completes, we thank them with 4% of the order total. It does not change your price.
