Florists
Referral terms & conditions
Version 1.0 · Last updated April 2026
1. Who we are
“We”, “us” and “Petal & Bloom Studio” refer to the flower-preservation studio based in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. By signing up to the florist referral programme (the “programme”) you (“the florist”) agree to these terms.
2. Your referral code & QR
On signup we generate you a unique referral code and a QR code that encodes a link to our website with that code attached. You are responsible for how and where you display your QR; you must not impersonate Petal & Bloom Studio or suggest a partnership beyond referral. We may revoke a code at any time for misuse.
3. What counts as a referral
A referral is a customer who either (a) scans your QR code, or (b) signs up to our mailing list via the referral modal using your code, and subsequently places a paid order with us within six months of that scan/sign-up. The six-month window is measured from the timestamp at which we first capture the customer email / cookie against your code.
4. Reward value and payout
The reward per successful referral is 10% of the referred customer's order total, as shown on the florist landing page and in site-wide messaging. The percentage in effect when the referral order reaches “complete” status is the one used to calculate the payout for that order.
A reward is only earned once the customer has received their product — i.e. the order reaches the “complete” status in our system. Cancelled, refunded or disputed orders do not count.
Earned rewards for each calendar month are totalled on the 1st of the following month and paid by BACS transfer to the bank account you nominate at signup, normally within 5 working days. Minimum payout threshold is £20; smaller balances roll forward.
5. Your bank details
You authorise us to store your sort code, account number and account holder name for the sole purpose of paying your referral rewards. You are responsible for keeping these details up to date via your account page. We will never share your bank details with third parties outside the payment flow.
6. Tax
Referral payments are paid gross of tax. You are responsible for declaring referral income on your UK tax return. On request we can provide a year-end statement for Self-Assessment.
7. Data protection
We process your business contact details, bank details and account login credentials under our legitimate interest in running the referral programme. Customer email addresses captured via your QR are processed under the consent they give when submitting the referral modal and are used to credit your account if they place an order.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate participation at any time, for any reason, by written notice. On termination we will pay any rewards already earned but not yet paid; no further referrals will accrue.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. You will be asked to re-accept the new version the next time you sign in. Earned-but-unpaid rewards are always honoured under the version that was current when they were earned.
