Expectations

Essential information

You must read and agree to this before continuing with your purchase.

Sending your flowers

You agree to send or drop off the flowers as soon as possible after your event. The ideal timeframe is within 1–3 days. Older flowers begin to fall apart after this, and I cannot guarantee the best results if the flowers are too old or soft.

I do not accept responsibility for the condition of flowers upon arrival — only once I take possession of them. If your flowers are not suitable for drying, or I cannot achieve a realistic outcome, I will contact you to advise. Please see my packaging instructions — never wrap your flowers in plastic. Keep them well watered after your event, and see my page about delivery instructions.

Which flowers work best

Some flowers are better suited to preservation than others. Generally, the thicker they are, the less suitable they are. Succulents are not suitable and cannot be dried. Please see my expectations page for further reference.

Please note: flowers do dry a different colour to their fresh colour. Expect reds to become darker, white to become cream or beige, and pinks/purples to show bruising easily (often with a transparent effect). This is a natural process and cannot be prevented — I do not take responsibility for it. Flowers also lose their “shine” in the drying process, which takes upwards of 4 weeks.

How I work with your blooms

I will only use the blooms I know will work best in your piece. I will not return any unused flowers. If you want additional flowers dried beyond those for your piece, I offer a flower drying service which you can purchase in addition to your order.

My natural style for flower preservation is a very full look — encompassing the flowers you specifically asked to be included, plus a few extras I believe will work with your shape. I will follow your requirements if you have them; if not, I will use my own artistic integrity to fulfil your order.

Inclusions and drop-offs

Any inclusions must be sent with your package if you can. Please message me directly to check whether your inclusion can go in resin, as it may cause a chemical reaction.

Please do not leave valuables outside the studio — arrange a collection with me directly.

Order details (required)

All orders must include:

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • What you are ordering
  • An up-to-date contact number

I will dry the flowers, but without knowing what I am drying or the shape you have chosen, I will dry them upright. Clear order details also ensure your order starts on time.

Delivery and payment

Prior to your order being sent out, I will reconfirm your delivery address. You must confirm this, or I am unable to send out your order.

All invoices are due to be paid in full one week before your event date.
